Elliott S. Martin – Owner and Lead Attorney

After being admitted to the Bar in May, 1981, Mr. Martin opened up a law office in Manhattan. He moved his practice to Brooklyn in 1985 and has maintained his office directly across the street from the Kings County Supreme Court since that time. His practice now encompasses a number of litigation areas including Commercial litigation; Contract law; Construction law; Estate law; Business law; Tort defense and Appellate Work. He has appeared in all State and Federal courts in the New York City metropolitan area, with the core of the practice in Kings County.

Beyond his 30+ years of experience, Mr. Martin brings intelligence and a pragmatic approach to all cases. All new matters are carefully reviewed and analyzed to work towards the best bottom-line resolution. Every attempt is made to identify the strengths of the client’s position and utilize his skills as a negotiator to attain the most positive outcome possible before intensive litigation is required. When necessary, however, he will aggressively litigate in a focused and time effective manner. He has taken many matters to trial on the Supreme Court level and is also a seasoned appellate attorney with a particular emphasis in the Appellate Division, Second Department. His ability to analyze and grasp the sensible and sequential process in litigation makes him a strong and successful attorney. Clients are put at ease by his accessible manner and appreciate that he works with them to view all practical options.
